Film Archive (Public Organization) would like to invite everyone to participate in nominating movie list for the registry of national heritage

films which will be announced on this upcoming October 4, 2014.

 

The list will be selected from films that are relevant to Thai people and contributed by Thai filmmakers only. The genres are well-ranged from features, newsreels, documentaries, to any experimental footage. The films can be either those that have been officially released or never before seen ones but a certain quality must be presented; being a historical artifact that contains significant events, having a unique artistry value that shows production creativity or bringing wide impact to audience and society, resulting in a change of social value and culture in both short and long terms.

 

Those who are interested can participate in nominating favorable films and given reasons as of why those particular films are deserved to be selected, along with participant’s name, surname, address and t-shirt size, by sending the above details at Film Archive (Public Organization) 94 Moo 3 Putthamonthon Sai 5 Rd, Salaya, Phutthamonthon District, Nakorn Pathom 73170 (Fax no. 02-482-2015) or via e-mail (filmarchivethailand@gmail.com) and website (www.fapot.org) from today until June 30, 2014. Please note that each participant can only nominate 1 film/person. As a return, Film Archive will send participants a t-shirt for recognizing the importance of Thai film preservation.
