Singing’ in the Rain is one of the most loved and celebrated musical films of all time. In the roaring 20s era, Don Lockwood is a top famous silent film star, along with his co-leading lady, Lina Lamont. Their studio links them romantically to increase their popularity in which Lina’s believes their fake love to be real. It becomes abundantly clear that his egocentric co-star does not have the voice for the new medium due to the advent of Talkies’ era. He finds his career in jeopardy so Don recruits Kathy Seldon to dub the part of his co-star. Lina’s jealousy toward Kathy’s singing talent becomes troublesome. Eventually, Don falls for Kathy and that anger Lina even more.
